Another brilliant sister of ours has transitioned into her role as ancestor due to birthing complications. This one is particularly heavy as Dr. Janell Green Smith lived this life as a maternal health expert, midwife, advocate and village champion. Sending all of you who were in any way affected by her practice comfort and strength during these challenging times. 🙏🏾💗

Only in her 30s, Green Smith was known as the “Loc’d” Midwife,” working with the nonprofit organization and app, Hive Impact Fund, serving as a robust resource during Black Maternal Health Week.
