Reasonable human is a legal standard that does not allow for inexperienced drivers to make mistakes. This is a different criterion than you seem to be applying.

Companies making autonomous vehicles have the choice to keep a safety driver in until they can meet the reasonable driver standard. If they choose not to do this they are endangering others.

The "human student driver" analogy is #Whataboutism and is something that should also change with a more rigorous driver education/testing regime such as that in many European countries.
