Alibaba is banning Claude Code from all internal use starting July 10, citing security vulnerabilities. The recommended replacement: Qoder, its own AI coding platform.

One detail worth flagging. Anthropic does not officially serve users in China. The fact that Alibaba needs to issue a formal ban tells you Claude Code had been widely used internally. Tolerated, if not endorsed.
