Epstein had a plea deal in Palm Beach County - we know this.

Why? Per the NYP (2018) and articles I missed in the Miami Herald (Where is their archive?!) pealed blinders off to reveal the supposed reason.

Epstein, to gain a secret settlement and non-prosecution agreement with Acosta et al, spillled the dirt on Bear Sterns.

In 2008, JP Morgan Chase acquired Bear Sterns.

In 2011 Epstein sued JPMC for $70M and later settled for $9M.

Did anyone else smell a rat?
