I think “caregiving” should be as popular and have as many resources dedicated to it as “parenting”.
I really thought that the Baby Boomers would totally change the face of aging — and they did — by helping found some of the country’s first hospices. However, it’s not enough.
Too many of us are caregivers for aging parents, disabled children, chronically ill spouses, etc., and there are not enough resources.
Gen X needs to do better! Millennials need to do better.
