Five years ago today, Donald Trump incited a violent insurrection to overturn the results of a free and fair election he lost. Calling it anything else is a lie.

Since then, Trump and his allies have tried to deny the facts and whitewash the truth. I will not be complicit in lies designed to protect his ego and escape accountability.
