TOO LATE

Kevin González is dead.

He was an 18-year-old U.S. citizen with terminal cancer. ICE kept his parents away for the last five months of his life, denied the humanitarian path, and only let the separation break after a federal judge forced movement.

A federal judge had to force the system to let his parents reach him.

He was reunited with his parents in Mexico and died about a day later.

ICE made a dying son fight for one final day with his parents. That is not bureaucracy. That is deliberate cruelty.
