ICE PAYS CORECIVIC TO CAGE CHILDREN IN CRUELTY

CoreCivic runs the Dilley detention camp, where ICE pays a private company to hold children and families, while CEO Patrick Swindle keeps repeating the same “humane” talking point CoreCivic has used before.

The conditions reported inside Dilley are still inhumane.↓

❌ Children denied emergency medical care. Food with worms and mold. Lights on 24/7. Sick kids waiting in cold and wind for medication. Video calls restricted after public backlash. RSV, measles, and Covid spreading inside.

❌ A two-month-old infant became unresponsive after choking on his own vomit and was denied medical care. A one-year-old nearly died after pneumonia, Covid, RSV, and respiratory distress worsened for weeks before she was taken to a hospital on the “brink of death.”

❌ A Russian asylum-seeking family detained there said:

“Even in Russia, they don’t treat children like this.”

They also said:

“We left one tyranny and came to another kind of tyranny.”

This is what CoreCivic calls the “most humane.”
