This is one thing I’ve struggled with as a traveler and content creator.
While I want to document our adventures and share them with our community, friends, and family, I don’t want to do so at the expense of not being in the moment, nor do I want to do it for the purpose of getting likes or subscribers.
There have been many times I’ve walked into a mob scene of “influencers” fighting to get the perfect selfie and it makes me sad — though I’m really not trying to judge others. It’s just that we’ve been indoctrinated into seeking dopamine hits rather than just being present.
This is one reason we backed off of doing YouTube videos and sharing our lives in that way, because everything was starting to become about shooting content for entertainment, rather than living in the moment.
Loved this post and the message Beck Sharron communicates here! ♥️
