A message for Anas Al Sharif

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya asked his lawyer to deliver a message to his son:

“If you can reach Anas al-Sharif, ask him to remind the world of our cause and our suffering.”

He didn’t know that Israel murdered Anas in August 2025. Dr Hussam Abu Safiya was Anas Al Sharif’s paediatrician in North Gaza. Imagine, he wants his son to pass a message to Anas Al Sharif’s, martyred 10 months ago.

Israel has illegally held Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya without charge, trial or time limit for more than 500days and has now placed him in solitary confinement, after his lawyer sought to appeal his imprisonment. Under international law he is a hostage. Like the 9,500 other hostages held by Israel, including hundreds of children.
