Christians don’t call people garbage, animals, leeches, or vermin, because every human being bears the image of God. When we strip others of their dignity through dehumanizing words, or align ourselves with people who do, we don’t just put people in harm’s way, we also corrode our own souls. This kind of degrading language doesn’t reflect Christ—it opposes Him. It’s time to rise above cruelty and extend the grace our faith demands.
