Russian film director Anna Tits, who was working on a movie about Russian soldiers, has drowned, according to Russian propaganda media.

The 52-year-old director had traveled to South Ossetia with a film crew to work on the movie “On the Path to Truth and Justice” about the war against Ukraine.

On May 21, during a walk, she fell from a suspension bridge into the Great Liakhvi River. The incident happened one day after the presentation of her film.

Rescue teams searched for Tits for three days before finding her body 35 kilometers from the place where she fell.
