Ukraine has imposed significant fiery sanctions on russia overnight.
Ukraine carried out another wave of long-range drone strikes, targeting infrastructure linked to russia’s war effort - the port of Taganrog, the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai (this is the fourth attack on the facility since the beginning of 2026), the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant in Rostov Oblast, and an oil depot in Azov.
Drone activity forced disruptions at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport and St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport.
These strikes reflect Ukraine’s strategy of targeting the infrastructure that fuels russia’s invasion: oil facilities that generate revenue for the Kremlin and defense plants that produce weapons used against Ukrainian cities.
