I have been deep down the rabbit hole of water filters and have come to the conclusion that 1) there are so many options 2) there are SO many options, yet none of them seem to be actually reliable and approved “clean” across all discussions.

So naturally, I’ll open another discussion thread to be thrown into the depths of the internet. In the past I’ve had water filters built into my sink, but in this new spot I don’t have that option (and don’t want to install anything permanent as I rent). I’ve also used the Lifestraw water filter, but have heard mixed things about it since using it a couple years ago.

I’m considering just filling jugs of water at the store (is that filtered water even actually filtered??), but am also still open to pitcher filters if anyone has a tried and true and actually filtering filter they could recommend.

What are other folks out there doin??
