The case is Abrego Garcia v. Noem. It was filed in federal court in MD on Mar 24 and a Emergency MOTION for Temporary Restraining Order was requested. The court system is not done being a check. It moves slowly from district-level courts to appellate courts to the Supreme Court. When, and if, the SC rules against him and he dismisses it, what happens next will establish whether the Judiciary is unable to be a check on the Executive as the Constitution prescribes.
