A short play in one act:

ME: I need to update my LinkedIn.

BRAIN: Cool just explain what you do.

ME: I'm Head of Business Development.

BRAIN: Great. Put that.

ME: But I also care about protecting human purpose in an age of AI.

BRAIN: ...okay so put both.

ME: "Head of BD who writes Saturday essays about ikigai and purpose-proofing AI from a tiny island in the Irish Sea."

BRAIN: They're going to think you're having a midlife crisis.

ME: What if I am but it's the productive kind?

BRAIN: Just pick a lane.

ME: No. The lanes are the same lane. I want to help people figure out what matters most to them either in or out of work... Sometimes that's a business conversation, sometimes it's an essay, sometimes it’s a purposeful AI lesson... sometimes it's all three before 9am.

BRAIN: ...

ME: I'm keeping all of it.

BRAIN: Fine. But don't mention bullet journal.

ME: Too late.
