Skip the cocktail of chemicals found in store-bought mouthwash and try this healthy recipe! β¨οΈπ«π
1 cup water β’ 4-5 whole cloves β’ 2-3 cinnamon sticks β’ Β½ teaspoon baking soda
Add cloves and cinnamon to a heat-safe jar. Pour boiled water over spices. Stir in the baking soda. Lightly cover (do not seal) and let it steep for 2 to 4 hours. Strain. Pour into a clean jar or bottle.
To use, swish 1 or 2 teaspoons of the liquid around your mouth for 20-30 seconds, then spit it out.
Store your mouthwash in the fridge for 1 to 2 weeks.
