The secret to my writing process:

It’s a lot of staring at one sentence for awhile and wondering why it doesn’t work and then looking out the window and then refreshing my email and then regretting a bad joke I made six weeks ago and then ruminating on whether the chorus of a Blink-182 song ever actually had a deeper meaning or if it was just settled on for the sake of the rhyme scheme and then I look back at the sentence and then the window and repeat.

Every few weeks, it produces an article.

i posted something new🙈 i talk about it more on the post, but for the next 40 days i will be focusing on the Lent season and writing privately but not publically publishing anything new. i will still be here on substack and on notes, but not posting any newsletters until resurrection sunday.
