For some, the shot is a fast kill bioweapon.
Very true, but on average it's slow.
If you think 2 to five years if not killed outright is slow, then you do not value life much. People are being tortured to death who do not die quickly. It is a horror that man kind has never seen before. The statistics say over 50% of the world is effected now and maybe this is an E.L.E. due to consuquences of shedding yet to be fully understood.
Compared to other chemical weapons such as Sarin gas or perhaps anthrax it is indeed "slow". The expression is a statement of fact and in no way diminishes the suffering of those where the results takes more time and in fact in many ways is even more horrific.
