Make money doing the work you believe in
This is for the ‘90s kids.
While nostalgia marketing isn’t groundbreaking, marketers are having fun with Toy Story 5. The franchise returns after it first hit theaters two decades ago, and some of our favorite brand campaigns have seen record-breaking engagement.
The campaigns are built around deep-cuts and tactile, IRL experiences. Papa Johns transformed into Pizza Planet, complete with a delivery truck and claw machine. Kellogg’s brought back cereal toys using the movie characters. AT&T created immersive, in-store experiences that mirror their social ads.
We’re starting to sound like a broken record: What happens on social influences real life, and then comes back to social. And vice versa.
