This isn’t “unconventional,” as stated in the video. It is a grotesque mockery of the office these portraits are meant to honor. We are now living in a reality where the very people currently charged with protecting our institutions are instead brazenly denigrating them, dismantling the integrity of our system of governance one chisel strike at a time. As “We the People,” whom this institution is meant to serve, we must not stand for it. Speak publicly about these injustices. Make clear why displays like this are unacceptable.
