Murder in Minneapolis
My own and others’ frame-by-frame from this angle
Protestor videoing ICE
Protestor had a valid Concealed Carry License
Protestor never touched or pulled his firearm
ICE scuffled with protestor who was assisting a fallen female protestor
Scuffle ensued with ICE officers
One ICE officer noticed protestor had a holstered firearm as six of them were wrestling him to the ground. The officer in gray pulled the gun away from the protestor’s holster, not from his hand.
This was the only time the gun was out of the holster or was touched.
Another officer on the left in a tan shirt pulls his own gun and fires into the back of the protester several times, with possibly others joining in for as many as 10 shots, over half of them into his lifeless body.
What DHS, Stephen Miller, Bovino, and the President are saying:
The man brandished his firearm with the intention to kill ICE agents, as he may or may not have had two other clips, both legal to carry with his license.
Kristi Noem later said the following, with one key statement: an individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. They seemed to have backed off on the word brandishing.
They did not know he had a gun when they first started to scuffle with the man.
Secretary Kristi Noem
@Sec_Noem
Today, DHS law enforcement was conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault.
During the operation, an individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. The officers attempted to disarm the suspect, but the armed suspect violently resisted. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots.
This violence is directly fueled by hateful rhetoric from Minnesota's sanctuary politicians. It must end now.
