Make money doing the work you believe in

In January 2022 at the Appling County Jail in Georgia, Officer William Rentz choked inmate Tremar Harris with a leg restraint chain while Harris was strapped to a restraint chair and allegedly made a racist remark about putting Harris "back in the cotton field." Three other officers—Daydan Brannon, Cannon Mcleod, and Ansley Fennell—stood by and watched without intervening. Rentz was fired, arrested, and charged with aggravated assault, battery, and violation of oath; those charges were later downgraded, the case was ultimately indicted as simple battery and violation of oath, to which he has pleaded not guilty, and the criminal case remains pending. Harris has also filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the three officers who failed to intervene, seeking a jury trial and damages.

This blatant abuse of power is happening every minute of every day across this country. We have to do something—we have to make sure this changes.
