The app for independent voices

Dear friends!

My account used to be entirely dedicated to horror, but for a while I got a bit personal. Please forgive this slight "free-thinking" digression. This evening is not about horror, but about legends.

I came across an article about Sir Christopher Lee and simply had to pay him tribute. This man was Ian Fleming's cousin and the real-life inspiration for James Bond.

A direct descendant of Charlemagne (yes, he even released a symphonic metal album about his ancestor).

A Special Operations Executive operator during World War II.

The ONLY cast member of "The Lord of the Rings" who actually met Tolkien in a pub – Tolkien wanted him to play Gandalf.

Watched "The Lord of the Rings" every year of his life. He didn't just act out his fantasies… he lived them. Rest in peace, Sir Christopher. P.S. While googling him, I spent a whole hour getting carried away by photos from his filmography... and I don’t regret it.
