Memory lane. This is salka.se, a kind of Substack from 2003 that a friend and I created one autumn when everything seemed to go wrong and I suddenly had time to both think and act. It was also when I first started writing, after wandering heartbroken through the woods every day with my dog. So much has happened since then, and yet nothing at all. I’m still writing online, still collecting likes and comments. And it’s the same now as it was then: the internet is my first place of publication. Paper is great, but interactivity greater.
