BREAKING🚨: House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan has formally referred former special counsel Jack Smith to the DOJ for possible criminal prosecution, accusing him of misleading Congress about how his team accessed lawmakers' text messages.

Jordan's letter to acting AG Todd Blanche says Smith's December deposition answers "gave the impression" his team never touched the content of members' messages. New records show that's not the full picture, 44 lawmakers from both parties had their communications swept up through a separate National Archives production.
