Yesterday I sent a post asking for emergency help & got a mass unfollowing instead. It continues to be disheartening & hurtful that community is willing to extract my writing & work for free; with thousands of people sharing my work across platforms. But then the moment I ask for help, so many people’s first instinct is to just abandon me. Being disabled, poor, and trans in this country truly is a fucking death sentence.
