The article shows so beautifully how our society suffers from "dissociative identity disorder (DID)", especially ideologically. For a "dream" to come true, reality must coincide with facts and figures. We humans are masters at adapting, and lying to ourselves. And yet, there's one thing we all agree on - everyone wants to improve his/her life for the "better". That's why the activists don't cycle to the COP, they fly. A society that suffers from DID is naturally unable to recognise this. Until the facts hit you hard in the face again. This article is a wonderful example because it is a boomerang you don't see coming at first.
