China is seeing another round of arrests under Xi Jinping—this time hitting senior military generals and top commanders.

While some are reporting this as a failed coup attempt—that could easily be a propaganda narrative perpetuated by China. 

History suggests it could just be another consolidation of power—something authoritarian regimes do routinely.
