Yesterday, the Danish Prime minister posted this photo on her social media. There, you see the leaders of 4 Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland) dining together. Not at a huge state building, nor at at fancy restaurant, but at home.

This is indicative of the flat hierarchy, which is a cornerstone of the Scandinavian societies. Solutions are found through dialogue and cooperation, rather than forcing opinions on each other.
