Hi, I’m Leah. I’m the Editor-in-Chief and founder of The Nourished Sensitive which is a creative wellness magazine and living ecosystem devoted to nourishment, belonging, and visibility for sensitive, intuitive, and neurodivergent souls.
I didn’t set out to build a brand.
I set out to understand myself.
What began as a sincere, earnest attempt to “start a business” quietly became a creative project.
And then, over time, a creative calling.
The Nourished Sensitive grew alongside me, shaped by my own unlearning, unmasking, and becoming. In many ways, it has been the most demanding—and most meaningful—thing I’ve ever created.
From the beginning, I sensed this work was bigger than me.
I couldn’t fully name it or map it out.
What I had was a felt sense: a clear inner vision, a deep devotion to what wanted to exist, and the willingness to stay with it for the long haul.
By training, I am a Registered Dietitian and Holistic Mind–Body Nutritionist, with a background in integrative, trauma-aware, and nervous-system-informed care. My work bridges evidence-based nutrition with the emotional, sensory, relational, and spiritual realities of being human—because nourishment is never just about food.
I am also autistic, highly sensitive, and ADHD.
These aren’t footnotes to my story; they are central to how I lead, create, and curate. I bring intensity, discernment, playfulness, and a strong moral compass.
I believe in beauty as a form of truth, creativity as nourishment, and community that grows organically, not performatively.
I’m no longer here to be the “face” of the brand in a conventional way. I’m here as its steward who holds and protects the vision, sets the tone, leads the mission, and tends to what is still unfolding.
The work isn’t finished.
The vision isn’t fully realized.
But I’m still here.
Listening, discerning, growing, creating, and carrying what I was given from the beginning.
