Why We Built NBN — And Why It’s Free

The Naturist Business Network started because we saw a gap in the naturist world: there was no common home where naturist businesses, content creators, and community members could connect, share what they do, and expand their reach — without jumping through hoops or hitting a paywall.

Like a lot of good ideas, NBN grew out of our own needs. Our other projects — The Naturist Vibe podcast and RK Underground, the creative home behind NÜDHAUS — needed exactly the kind of tools we were building into NBN. So we started adding features for ourselves, and then realized: if we’re going to build something really useful, we might as well build it for everyone.

That realization shaped everything. Our core belief is that the naturist community deserves tools that help it grow and thrive — tools that make it easier for people to show up, be seen, and connect with each other. Naturism is about freedom, authenticity, and seeing people as whole human beings. A platform built for that community should reflect those same values.

So NBN is free. Not “free tier with a catch” free — just free. No paywalls on the basics, no charging for features that should come standard. We support NBN through our other projects, because TNV and RKU need a home on the naturist Internet, and NBN is that home.
