Make money doing the work you believe in

Abe Fioxman, for 30 years the director of the ADL, who passed away last weekend, age 86, was a friend of my father (my father served on the ADL board for many years). Abe was a Holocaust surivivor who as a child was hidden by Catholics who raised him as their own — which Foxman said always informed his relations with Catholics including Pope John Paul who he met with. Abe actually was the host for the book party for my first book about the Demjanjuk Nazi War Crimes trial in Jerusalem. He was tough and could be brittle but also warm and funny. I always had a warm spot in my heart for him, Condolences to his family. May his memory be for a blessing.
