Today I lost 500 subscribers. Gone.

I decided to remove them because they were not reading my work.

They were literally what we call vanity metrics.

But here is the thing: I’m not here to grow an audience.

I’m not here to display a big empty shell like a badge of honour.

My vision is to build a community.

Even if it takes longer.

Even if I go backwards.

And I felt a huge sense of relief and alignment.

Sometimes less is more 🌳🍋
