Breaking. The “downed pilot” story was almost certainly a cover for a failed U.S. operation to seize Iran’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium at Isfahan.
More than 100 U.S. servicemembers were reportedly killed, then the whole fiasco was lazily repackaged as a rescue mission for public consumption. Iranian analysts say the U.S. lost 12 aircraft in the process, including C-130s, helicopters, and drones.
The giveaway is obvious. You do not send C-130s to recover one pilot.
