I'm checking out of Canyon Ranch Tucson today. Under duress.
I went in guilty about taking the time. I answered some emails on the first day because the work is also important. I overscheduled myself because that's what I do.
On my second morning, I was on a 5:45am canyon walk when our guide pointed to a saguaro β tall and straight, no arms yet, just starting to fruit at the top β and said:
*Saguaros don't bloom until they're 40 to 50 years old.*
Four of us stopped walking at the same time. Nobody had to say anything.
Full story coming soon β the clairvoyant, the craniosacral massage, the art journal, the bingo win, and what the desert does to you if you let it.
In the meantime: you're not late. You're just growing. π΅
