It’s wild how one cold night can undo an entire season. My marigolds and nasturtiums froze in an instant, all that color gone before the day even started. I brought the basil, peppers, strawberries, and bean plant inside, so a little piece of summer is still hanging on. This time of year always shifts my mood, and watching the garden change that fast is always a huge reminder.
