Democratic leadership in Congress is calling for Secretary Noem to be fired.

Noem was doing what the WH wanted; her leaving does not provide an independent investigation of the Good or Pretti murders, or change the Trump policy on ICE, or hold the others who said/did the same thing as Noem to account.

The question thus arises: Are the Democrats built for this moment?
