Here’s a thought: DOJ is currently violating Congress’ Epstein transparency law, by claiming privileges that the law does not allow and withholding millions of documents. DOJ has not said, tellingly, that all documents and images related to Trump have been disclosed.
So what can Congress do?
A lot. Don’t confirm nominees until there is compliance; don’t fund DHS-ICE (or other projects) until there is full compliance.
Congress has the tools to do this, without the slow process of going to court. It just must decide if this is a priority.
