BREAKING— actually our democracy is breaking:

Gavin Newsom just announced that DOJ opened a criminal investigation into him. After Comey, Letitia James, Mark Kelly and 5 other Members of Congress ,and Jerome Powell we are in full autocracy mode. All failed attempts at intimidation, coercion, and political retribution.

And not a single investigation into a senior Republican politician - no investigation into Homan for his widely reported taking a bag of cash ($50,000), no investigation of Hegseth for disseminating classified information, no investigation of false congressional testimony by Noem (and others), and no investigation into the officers who shot Alex Pretti and Renee Good. But pardons up one side and down the other of politicians, corporate executives, and loyalists including J6 defendants who attacked police.

And the Senate will be all the more complicit if they do not stand against this by, among other things, rejecting Todd Blanche’s confirmation.

Enough is enough.
