He has been writing about deconstructing harmful faith systems for a very long time and explores both the liberation and the void that such deconstruction produces. Bruce Wilson - you have personally done this work and have been one of my favorite thought partners on this subject.

I think of deconstruction as the necessary chrysalis phase of a butterfly’s life. It is not the end but a necessary part of the process of learning to fly. While Jim initially approached deconstruction of inherited forms of meaning making from a faith lens, I think this article does a good job of showing how it is the ground of all the destailization we are feeling.
