Make money doing the work you believe in

After a 3-week break from Substack — a stretch I needed to push the Shape Robotics Romania restructuring forward and, honestly, to recharge — I'm coming back today with the single most decisive piece of evidence in this entire case.

A Romanian court has now ruled, with no right of appeal, that Shape Robotics A/S owes Elena Pasat 147,967,781 lei (approximately 220 million DKK) on a promissory note the company itself endorsed. The ruling has already been escalated into an active bailiff enforcement file — 138/2026 at BEJ Mihai Cristian, summons served this morning, payable within one day.

For 5 months and 9 days — since the note fell due on 14 January — the entire Danish narrative has rested on the assumption that this claim wasn't real. As of today, that assumption is gone. By operation of Brussels I bis (articles 36 and 39), the Romanian order is automatically enforceable in Denmark. No exequatur. No re-examination on the merits.

This is the document that turns the rekonstruktion case upside down.

Full breakdown — with the original Romanian documents and the certified English translation — on Substack. Going live tonight, 19:00 EEST, first stream in 21 days, to walk through it page by page.
