I’m on board with all this, but I believe it will take a great deal of deliberate action to rebuild the social structures that the internet has broken. There’s no time like the present to start, though. So what about some sort of Substack writers’ meetup? I’m in Omaha. I’m not averse to a few hours’ drive if it means meeting in person with some of the people I’ve gotten to know through writing here.
