The app for independent voices

We just stopped another major national park selloff.

We did it the old fashioned way through thousands of calls and emails lighting up staff offices.

This group and many others like it forced Republicans to pull an amendment that would have weakened legal protections keeping national parks under federal control.

The language was buried in a must pass funding bill and moved fast. The plan relied on speed and silence.

Senator Mike Lee has now officially withdrawn it, forced into another embarrassing retreat because of us.

No press conference changed this. No insider deal fixed it. Public pressure did.

Collective action still has force on public lands issues, especially when it shows up early and loud.

Share this incredible win. It proves ordinary people still matter in fights like this.
