I’ve decided that I need to share a work that is lighter in tone…to show healing progress and it’s inspired by Rainbows. I cannot remember a time when the beauty and mystery of them did not fascinate and then, to explore all the many different meanings attached to them, well, it is quite fascinating how humans need to attach meanings to things, isn’t it?

For me, personally, seeing rainbow of color either in nature or by happenstance in my home, evokes joy, new beginnings, the blending of colors, a promise, strength, pride, hope, science, and the calm after the storm. Seeing them now and how often I photograph them….the hundreds upon hundreds of them… in my cell phone…it seems…a sign or a pattern of healing and a change in thinking. To me….they also mean metamorphosis, specifically mine.

How will I find the time? There’s just so much, it seems, that I have to say. I’m driven to share, because I will not be quiet.

The ideas don’t pause, they just keep flowing like the rivers being filled with the rain from a summer storm.

The kind of storm where the sunlight bursts through the dark clouds while it is still raining, enticing you to run outdoors and stomp in the puddles that formed on the steaming blacktop, as you scan the sky for a glimpse of the magical colors that form, the elusive colors, projected in the blue sky, that float with no ending or beginning.
