Make money doing the work you believe in

grown up on old internet, whenever I come across “safe place principles” stated formally - when it is not a fetish event or special support group - but something public and general, just drops my level of respect and giving a fuck to zero. Like sure, it means don’t be an asshole or whatever, I know what it is there for, but also, it comes off as sign of “no greatness happenss here, smoothen up your wilds, no rough edges allowed, this is padded garden for the frail and fragile, bumping heads, showing friction express in open and direct - absolutely forbidden - we do misaligned therapy talk here!

I play along, don’t mind really, but also, well on time when I could have cared, felt wanting to belong or thought it would be worth my effort and commitment- is gone. Nah. Safe space principles taken beyond the containers where they’re good for is antagonist to my identity. Safe space is like healing - alway wrong as persisting default, inteded as temporary topical intervention.

not gonna say a thing, just, having that blank calm smile of “given up, not caring at all, you fucked this up, got no respect left, don’t mind if all this rots down, may you have it your way then”.

Maturing up, not my battle.
