Jessica Denson, reporting directly from Watson and his lawyer, says the Air Force rescinded the order restricting him to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling effective July 17.
He can leave the base.
The UCMJ investigation continues. Denson reports that the orders limiting his public statements and social-media activity also remain.
Meanwhile, Rep. Al Green says he will bring impeachment articles to a House vote within weeks, the congressional action Watson demanded on the Capitol steps.
The officer’s voice remains constrained. His demand has reached the House floor.
