Why It Matters When the President Ignores the Law

He who saves his country does not violate any law - Trump, 02/15/25

When the President ignores the courts and breaks the law, it’s not just politics—it’s a direct threat to democracy. The rule of law means no one is above it, not even the President. If we let this slide, it sets a dangerous precedent: power becomes unchecked, and our system of checks and balances crumbles.

This isn’t just about one person—it’s about protecting the foundation of our government. If the President can defy the courts, what’s stopping him—or future leaders—from doing whatever they want?

What We Can Do About It

1. Show Up: Ongoing protests, rallies, and marches matter. Be visible. Be loud. Make it impossible for the media and politicians to ignore us.

✔️ 02/17/25 President’s Day: Join the Not My King an anti-Trump protest organized by Reddit #50501

⏭️ Every Saturday from 12:00 - 2:00 pm participate in Tesla Takedown protest at Tesla’s dealership. Find your time and place on the following website teslatakedown.com.

⏭️ 03/04/25 We are the Resistence Protest joinfiftyfifty.one partnering with Political Revolution; No Voices Unheard; Voices of Florida; and Build the Resistence.

✔️ Join indivisible.org to locate upcoming protests in your area.

2. Use Your Wallet: Boycott businesses and donors who support this administration. Money talks—hit them where it hurts.

✔️ 02/28/25: Participate in the 24-Hour Economic Blackout led by the People’s Union. Use this boycott to better prepare for the next one which will be ongoing.

⏭️ 03/04/25:Trump 2.0 is set to address Congress. Instead of watching, take action:

- Contact your Representatives and Senators.

- Demand they boycott the speech or disrupt it with no applause or accolades. Be like Bernie do not stand for Trump 2.0 he is not a King.

⏭️ 03/15/25: Take part in the boycott Shutdown315. The Shutdown Tyranny Movement

3. Demand Media Coverage: Call out news outlets that ignore or downplay these abuses. Flood them with demands to report the truth. Think New York Times, Newsweek, Axios, and even local news stations.

4. Organize Locally (Grassroots): Build coalitions in your community. Host events, register voters, and mobilize people to vote out enablers in the next election.

5. Support Legal Action: Donate to groups like the ACLU and NAACP Legal Defense Fund fighting these battles in court.

6. Hold Everyone Accountable: It’s not just the President—it’s everyone who lets this happen. Call out complicit politicians and vote them out.

This is about protecting our democracy. If we don’t act now, we risk losing the rule of law forever. Share this. Get involved. Democracy only works if we fight for it.
