Today’s moment of zen. A ride on Xena Warrior Scooter to the Forest Hill Park fishing pond. Chatted with a nice man about the fishing. I often find myself talking to nice people here and on the ride to get to the pond. People fishing, people walking their dogs, families strolling with kids,(kids love Xena.) Lots of smiles and hellos. The place makes people feel good. I realized today it was really why I love going there. It is beautiful and peaceful, but smiling and saying hello, how’s the fishing, to a stranger is what makes it special.
