“Where are the 60-year-olds with non-verbal, head-banging, diaper-wearing autism?”

Seriously? That’s not how autism is diagnosed! And the rates of adults with Autism has also increased… due to changing diagnostic criteria, better recognition, and more awareness leading to adults seeking assessment. We shouldn’t expect adult diagnoses to “mirror children”. That’s absurd.
